Layout & typography

Some designers refer to themselves as "typophiles". I think I'm one of them. I enjoy obsessing over finding just the right typeface (and pairings) for the occasion, and then fussing over the nerdy technicalities of character spacing, leading, hyphenation, hierarchy. Putting it all together with images, graphic accents, columns and pages becomes a craft that I can thoroughly lose myself in.

Whether it's the puzzle of fitting call-to-action headings; info-text; contact-info; with images and graphics – giving each their proper weight and place – within confined parameters like an envelope, postcard or small brochure... or whether it's a multi-page donor proposal or a multi-chapter book: I'll solve your "problem" with good, intelligent design.
